Adolfo joined SDL as CEO in April 2016. Prior to joining SDL, Adolfo was CEO of Acision, the mobile messaging market leader he helped turn around prior to its merger to Comverse to form Xura, Inc. Before that, he spent four years at Alcatel-Lucent, with his most recent position being Executive Vice President, Global Software Services and Solutions, where he was a member of the Executive Committee, reporting to the Group CEO. In this role, he was responsible for all of Alcatel-Lucent’s multi-billion dollar software application solutions and services business globally. This included professional, support, operations, managed services and consulting businesses. In addition, he headed the Strategic Industry business providing advanced solutions to some of the biggest Enterprises across verticals such as utilities, transportation and government.
Adolfo also has a wealth of experience in Enterprise software and services built over the years in senior management roles at Sun Microsystems, Inc, where he was responsible for all aspects of its services business around the world and IBM Corp where he spent nine years (in London and Munich) in a variety of sales leadership and general management positions in the areas of eBusiness and Open Systems.
Dominic Kinnon joined SDL in 1997. During his time with SDL, Dominic has evolved his group from providing pure translation services to an organization that delivers high value, language related solutions to customers worldwide. As CEO for SDL Language Solutions, Dominic leads an organization of more than 1700 professionals across 34 countries.
Prior to SDL, Dominic worked within the petrochemical industry in Europe, the US and Middle East and subsequently spent a number of years in Business Consulting helping companies develop their management potential and improve their operational performance.
Dominic is also a trustee of the SDL Foundation that provides support for sustainable, structural development that improves the quality of life for disadvantaged communities around the globe.
Peter-Paul Houtman is responsible for all technologies across the SDL Group. His responsibilities includes SDL’s Innovation and Product Development activities, as well as SDL’s Cloud Operations. He joined SDL in 2009 as R&D manager in the Content Management division, and has since played an active role in growing and harmonizing the SDL product portfolio.
Peter-Paul has over 15 years’ experience in the software development industry. Prior to joining SDL, he held technical consultancy and business consultancy roles for a variety of customers in both the private and the public sector.
Dominic Lavelle is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined SDL in November 2013. Previously,Dominic has held senior executive and CFO roles within a number of private and publicly traded companies including Mothercare plc, Oasis plc, Allders plc and Alfred McAlpine plc, where his roles have encompassed commercial, operational and strategic responsibilities. He has more than 25 years senior financial experience and is responsible for all financial matters.
Jean-Pierre (JP) Dekker is VP of Strategy at SDL. He is responsible for all mergers and acquisition activity, as well as defining and implementing key strategic initiatives for the company. Prior to joining SDL JP served as Director of the Portfolio Management Team at HgCapital. He also worked at GE, where he was responsible for developing and implementing strategic growth projects across a range of businesses, and Morgan Stanley in their investment banking division. Mr. Dekker holds an M.B.A. degree from INSEAD and a degree in finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Azad Ootam joined SDL in June 2016 as Chief Transformation Officer. Azad is responsible for optimizing SDL’s language-centric strategy, ensuring it has the business systems and intelligence needed to make quality decisions.
Prior to SDL, Azad served Royal Mail Group as Head of Business Operations, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s Technology Group redesign and transformation prior to its privatization as well as managing Technology’s commercial strategy. Leading strategic direction at Board level, Azad is highly experienced in working for large, complex organizations focussing on extensive transformational engagements.
Glenn Collinson joined SDL as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee on 1 June 2014. He also sits on the Audit Committee. He is currently a non-executive director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Wolfson Microelectronics Plc, a non-executive director of Inside-Secure SA , publically listed in France, and holds non-executive director positions with other private companies. Prior to this in 1998 Mr Collinson co-founded Cambridge Silicon Radio and was a member of the board managing the company's growth through its listing in 2004, as CSR Plc, up until 2007. Over the last six years Mr Collinson has held non-executive directorships within the technology sector.
