Facilitating your processes

The new workflow engine manages processes for your pages, content, templates, multimedia and bundles for greater confidence, quality and compliance. Create tasks on the fly, so users can approve or check content assets quickly and easily. Each stage in the workflow process sends notifications to the assigned users or groups.

Bundles orchestrate online assets

To bring a new campaign, channel, webpage or product to market, you often need to compile multiple pieces of text, layout elements, images, downloads and multimedia elements. SDL Tridion 2013 introduces Bundles, which let you put multiple items together so you can manage them as a single entity, applying business processes and monitoring progress to give you greater control over your customers’ experience.

More value from your enterprise assets

A new set of extensible APIs integrate SDL Tridion with external content repositories, such as SDL Media Manager, Northplains DAM, SharePoint and Flickr. In SDL Tridion, the access point to external repositories looks just like a normal folder, making it easy for those managing the website to directly select and use these assets.

Regulatory compliance

Bundles and workflows are fully audited which means you can control and monitor who has modified a bundle or piece of content and when. Website quality management with SDL Safeguard lets you perform one-click checks pre- and post-publishing. It automatically checks all your web properties for mandatory standards, guidelines and quality controls.
