SDL WorldServer Fundamentals

During this course users will learn the fundamentals of SDL WorldServer, including the benefits of using SDL WorldServer, navigation through the SDL WorldServer user interface, an introduction to translation memories and terminology databases as used in SDL WorldServer and how to get started.

SDL WorldServer for Translators

During this course users will learn how to work with SDL Worldserver as a translator: how translators are notified that work is available, how to claim work (tasks) and the various linguistic tools available to translators. Users will also learn how to work with translation memories and terminology databases within the SDL WorldServer environment.

SDL WorldServer for Project Managers

During this course users will learn how to manage quotes, projects and tasks, how to use SDL WorldServer for communications and how to use reports. Participants will also learn how to work with translation memories and terminology databases from within SDL WorldServer.

SDL WorldServer for Reviewers

During this course users will learn how to work with SDL Worldserver as a reviewer: how users are notified that work is available, how to claim work (tasks), how to make comments or corrections. Participants will also learn to use the tools available to them through SDL WorldServer.

SDL WorldServer for Transport Users

Users During this course users will learn how to work with SDL WorldServer TransPort to request quotes and to submit, monitor, and download translation projects.

SDL WorldServer for Administrators

During this course administrators will learn how to set up and administrate SDL WorldServer, including user management, business rules, workflows for process automation and linguistic tool setup. Participants will learn how to configure SDL WorldServer to best suit their organization. The course also includes deeper technical detail for the setting-up of specific routing of translation and review projects and is designed for IT and technical staff who will have responsibility for this level of configuration and administration. Also for power business and operations users who will help design and define workflows and processes.
