SDL Tridion Sites 9 Delta

This course is recommended for organizations upgrading to SDL Tridion Sites 9 as it provides working examples and experience of implementing new and improved features of SDL Tridion Sites 9. Participants will be walked through how to merge content from Tridion Sites and Tridion Docs, creating content mashups, the new GraphQL content endpoint, Page regions and Experience Optimization 9. 

The course will provide hands on experience with GraphQL, the different ways to query for content and how to extend this. The course will also cover the different possible ways to upgrade from previous Tridion versions to Tridion Sites 9. In addition, it will also go over the new options available to host, deploy and manage the Content Manager and Content Delivery stacks.

SDL Tridion Sites Fundamentals

This course will take users through the main concepts and best practices needed to manage an SDL Tridion Sites Implementation. The course takes advantage of the Digital eXperience Accelerator (DXA), a fully functional website implementation for SDL Tridion Sites that provides a quick‐start foundation for web projects. This course provides an introduction to SDL Tridion Sites Content Management and will show how SDL Tridion Sites is structured and which items are used to manage and organize content and websites. The features and the benefits of SDL Tridion Sites Interfaces and their functionalities will be described and the trainer will guide the user through practical scenarios and exercises needed to update, create and manage a website.

SDL Tridion Sites BluePrinting and Authorization

This course is designed to take users through the main concepts and best practices for BluePrinting and Authorization needed for an SDL Tridion Sites Implementation. A BluePrint is a hierarchy of Publications created in the Content Manager, which define parent and child relationships between Publications. SDL Tridion Sites Authorization ensures that you have access to the functionality and access to the items you need to use within one or more Publications.

SDL Functional Design and Content Modeling

This course is designed to take users through the main concepts and best practices for implementing a Functional Design and Content Modeling needed for an SDL Tridion Sites Implementation. This course details how to implement best‐practice content models and how to create the most effective library of business Schemas. The course details how to implement best‐practice content models and how to create the most effective library of business Schemas. A Schema in SDL Tridion Sites provides the methodology of defining Content and Metadata throughout the entire Content Management System and an effective Content Model is imperative to the success of any business goals within SDL Tridion Sites.

SDL Tridion Sites Developer

This course provides a technical introduction to developing SDL Tridion Sites powered web sites using the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern. The course simulates a pre‐built environment created through SDL’s Digital eXperience Accelerator (DXA) delivering best‐practice examples and methodology. This course introduces a developer, or technical user, to the key advantages of developing with DXA. The course uses Visual Studio or Eclipse as the chosen IDE and assumes you are familiar with terminology and basic methodology associated with developing an MVC site. During the course, all participants will build a new site from scratch by employing DXA methodologies that can be used in any implementation.

SDL Tridion Sites System Administrator

This course is designed to provide attendees with a high‐level architecture overview of SDL Tridion Sites, including some of the key features and concepts. The course details how to configure SDL Tridion Sites by deploying an environment that utilizes the new Topology Manager and Discovery Service, as well as many of the Content Delivery micro‐services. The course details how to configure the Site Wizard tool. The course also explains how to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain a typical SDL Tridion Sites installation as well as exploring some key strategies for future‐proofing an implementation.
