Xenia Walters was appointed Chief Financial Officer of SDL on 3 April 2018. 

As CFO, Xenia has worked to optimize SDL's target operating model to build a scalable, flexible back-office model that can meet the demands for the future and support new data-driven ways of working. 

Under Xenia, the team is continuing to deliver further operating and financial benefits and, across the business, continues to consolidate the number of systems that the business runs on, standardize and automate processes and increase use of data in areas such as real-time and predictive decision-making to optimize performance and productivity. 

Xenia began her career with Price Waterhouse, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Following 6 years in practice, she joined the corporate world and held several senior finance positions internationally and across a range of industries and sectors. 

Xenia is a results-driven senior finance professional with a track record of delivering operational and profit improvements within fast-paced environments in both public companies and private equity-backed global operations. Her broad and extensive experience has been developed through leading and directing functional disciplines outside of finance such as IT, procurement, facilities, and operations. 

Prior to joining the Group, Xenia held CFO roles within a number of private equity-backed companies and was Group Financial Controller and UK CFO at IWG plc (formally Regus). 

Xenia holds a BSc in Economics from Birmingham University and an MBA from Henley Management School. Outside of work, Xenia enjoys road cycling, fitness, and spending time adventuring outdoors with her family.
