Our customers are primarily medium-sized enterprises in the machine tool, systems engineering and equipment manufacturing sectors. These enterprises have medium to large translation volumes for which significant savings and improvements in quality can be achieved by the utilisation of the latest technology.
For this technology we rely consistently on the market leaders in the sector, as only then is it ensured that the most effective tools are used in the complete documentation workflow and translation workflow.
We are not only one of the forerunners in the industry in our partnership with SDL-Trados, the market leader in the Global Information Management (GIM) and Translation Memory Systems (TMS) sector, but also in the Content Management Systems (CMS) sector where we are, e.g., certified for TIM-RS by Fischer. Our quality management system is based on ISO 9001 and DIN EN 15038.
Nevertheless, for us the focus remains on the translator whose qualifications and experience are irreplaceable. For this reason the majority of our translations are undertaken by engineers. The exclusive usage of native speakers is these days, fortunately, almost a matter of course in the industry. We are pleased to see this development, although we could never imagine working any other way.
Such clarity across the industry would also be desirable in relation the ownership of the Translation Memories (TMs) produced during translation projects. In our opinion the customer is of course the owner of these translation memories. We archive them free of charge and provide them to our customers as necessary.
