Global LT was founded in 1979. For over 30 years, our mission has been to empower corporate employees to live and work successfully anywhere in the world with our language training, cultural training, translation services and expatriate destination services.

Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, with regional representatives in Boston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London and Shanghai, Global LT employs over 70 people worldwide, and relies upon a strong, dedicated network of language solution providers to deliver our services.

Global LT is owned by Hortensia Neely - our founder and President. Hortensia adds a multi-cultural facet to the business, with her Cuban heritage. She started the forerunner to Global LT as a home-based language training company. Now 30 years and several expansions later, Global LT is global, serving companies around the world. We are a certified minority-owned business. In 2008, we ranked in the Top 500 of Hispanic-American Owned Businesses in the U.S., according to DiversityBusiness.com. We are also a certified WBE (Women Business Enterprise).
