SDL Tridion, leader in Web Content Management (WCM) and part of SDL, leader in Global Information Management, today announces it has partnered with Nihon Unisys and TAKT Systems to offer its WCM solution as SaaS (Software as a Service) model in Japan.
Nihon Unisys has started with the building of their iDC (Internet Data Center that facilitates hosting, ASP and SaaS businesses) in October 2008. Through its iDC, Nihon Unisys since then provides ICT hosting services and other solutions as SaaS, guaranteeing high quality 24x7 services including maintenance service and support - by providing a flexible mix of resources and features to meet customer requirements.
The CMS SaaS offering comes with a monthly fee and has as objective to build hundred sites within three years. This SaaS model allows customers to use SDL Tridion on the Nihon Unisys’s iDC platform and includes Nihon Unisys’s high quality maintenance and service. For the implementation of specific websites, customers will work with SDL Tridion and dedicated consultants from its partner TAKT system and other web consulting or content creation agencies. Customer can easily scale their number of CPU’s, disk space or other platform related requirements through the Nihon Unisys iDC hosting center.
SDL Tridion’s WCM solution is designed to provide customers with a centralized management tool for all content. The SDL Tridion BluePrinting technology ensures that multiple websites can be updated easily and quickly, to meet ever-changing business needs.
