Since January 1, 2006, all our translation activities are grouped together
under a single entity called GEDEV, a fully-owned subsidiary of the SONOVISION-ITEP Group. GEDEV thus has an operating structure of its own and a turnover of more than 5M€.

TECHNICAL TRANSLATION
Technical Translation is concentrated on the industrial activities of French and international organizations concerned with exportation. Our recognised specialties include: aeronautics, civil engineering, power industries, transport, telecommunications, computing.

LEGAL/FINANCE
GEDEV uses legal and financial translators providing highly accurate translations in their mother tongue and is now well established on this market. Translations include: contracts, annual reports, assignments, mergers and acquisitions, expert investigations, legal actions, etc. The Gedev Group is authorised to certify its translations intended for law firms, corporate legal departments and individuals.

CREATIVE WRITING
The main areas of activity are communication, advertising, marketing and cultural activities. GEDEV's translators and editors specialized in this particularly delicate field of translation are assisted by their excellent cultural knowledge. Their flexibility and creativity enable them to translate high profile texts in such areas as marketing, hospitality, advertising, multimedia, press relations, etc.

MEDICAL/COSMETICS
GEDEV has become one of the leaders on this market. Our translation work is chiefly requested from pharmaceutical laboratories and companies creating perfumes and cosmetic products.
