In-house English into French Medical Translators
SDL International, one of the leading localisation and Global Information Management companies with offices throughout the world, is currently looking for Medical translators - preferably specialized in medical devices - to join its fast growing in-house localization team in Paris.
The role involves translation and review of medical documentation from English into French, covering various areas, and to the mid-long term, the coordination of medical projects in order to ensure high quality translation according to schedules and budgets.
For this challenging role, SDL is looking for motivated and committed linguists, eager to actively contribute to the French office expansion.
Skills & Experience:
• Extremely high level of fluency in the target language.
• Educated to degree level (MASTER 2/DESS) with a qualification in Translation.
• Fluency in English compulsory.
• 6 months to 4 years experience in translation/localisation, with a first experience in medical translation.
• A first experience in project coordination is required.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Organized, able to work in a professional environment and with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure/tight deadlines.
• PC literate with excellent MS Office experience
• A first experience with Translation Memory tools (such as SDLX/Trados) would be a plus.
