SDL has announced the completion of contracts with Lexmark International Inc., to cover the provision of localization services.
Lexmark has been using SDL for more than 10 years, in a variety of projects covering software, online help and documentation localization into approximately 20 languages. After a careful selection process, involving a number of the world's leading globalization and localization solution providers, Lexmark has now contracted SDL to provide localization support for the Printer Solution and Services Division.
SDL will be working on numerous projects covering all of the localization activity, which involves working across more than 20 languages, providing translation, software engineering, Q&A, desktop publishing of documentation and testing of final files.
The work will be managed from SDL's site in Bray, Ireland, where a dedicated team has been established and developed over the years to meet Lexmark's continuing need for a cost-effective, flexible and efficient solution.
"SDL is obviously happy to extend our strong relationship with Lexmark, which has continued throughout the last 10 years, and thank the company for the continued confidence in our ability to deliver. Our commitment to maintaining and growing a dedicated team for Lexmark has certainly paid off and we look forward to continuing to develop our close relationship in the coming years." said Hedley Rees-Evans, Group Marketing Director.
