In-house English and German to Spanish Trainee Translators
SDL International, one of the leading localisation and Global Information Management companies with offices throughout the world, is currently recruiting translators that are looking to start their career in a professional way, to join its fast growing in-house localization team in Granada (Spain).
The role involves translation of all kinds of content from English and German into Spanish, covering various subject matters related to
- IT
- Medical
- Finance
- Marketing
- Automotive
- Mechanical
To the mid-long term, the role will be extended to translation review and project coordination, in order to ensure high quality translations according to schedules and budgets. Our experienced team of 45 Spanish translators, all in-house, will allow you to become a professional translator.
For this challenging role, SDL is looking for motivated and committed linguists, eager to develop their professional skills and support the high performance of the Spanish office.
Skills and Experience:
- High level of fluency in the target language.
- Finalized education to degree level with a qualification in Translation.
- Fluency in English and German compulsory.
- Interested in translation/localisation of documentation and software.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Organized with excellent communication skills and ablity to work in a professional environment.
- Flexible and ablity to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- PC literate with excellent MS Office experience.
Experience with Translation Memory tools (such as SDLX/Trados) would be a plus.
