SDL AuthorAssistant is a key component of SDL Global Authoring Management System. It provides content authors with a valuable tool to enable them to check previously translated content against terminology, highlighting incorrect terminology, and providing alerts to style inconsistencies which do not match the style guide. The product is targeted at technical documentation departments and marketing departments that have a need to translate content into about five or more languages. In our opinion, the extensive features of AuthorAssistant, which closely match the requirements of organisations, should ensure SDL a large share of the translation market.
