Project Managers - Leuven

You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, desk-top publishers in-house and freelance translators to produce high quality localisation of software and multimedia.

You will be the main contact between SDL and our clients, managing a project team throughout all phases of successful project delivery from inception to completion.

You will effectively communicate with the project team and clients so that they are fully informed as to the process, progress and financial status of their projects and by early identification and elevation of project or client related issues. The role involves the preparation and maintenance of all project related documentation, providing estimates and organising and collating information provided by the technical and translation departments for the successful compilation of projects. To be considered you must have proven experience in managing people and being responsible for budgets and costs. You will have previous experience of working in a project based, client facing role, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work to strict deadlines. Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential as is the confidence and ability to make decisions. You will be both practical and logical, be able to multi-task and have a keen eye for detail. You must be PC literate, have excellent MS Office skills and have a keen interest in IT. Experience of translation and /or localisation would be advantageous.
