This challenging role involves translation and review of a variety of material targeted to the Spanish market, as well as terminology management and quality assurance in the requested field.
Candidates must show expertise in a variety of subjects, including legal, marketing, advertising, financial and general issues, with a focus on corporate literature (training manuals, competency-based job descriptions, codes of conduct, product brochures, newsletters, business forecasts, financial statements, contracts, legal notices, website terms of use, internal and external correspondence.)
Strong writing skills in Spanish are a must, along with an expert use of the style and register suitable for a business environment.
The successful candidate will be a Spanish native speaker with a degree in translation and an in-depth knowledge of the Spanish culture, along with a min. of 2 years experience in the field of localisation.
An understanding of IT with good MS Office skills is essential and experience with Translation Memory tools would be an advantage.
