To be considered you will currently be in a development or customisation role within software or IT based company or just completed a degree in an equivalent role in computer development/solution design. You must have working knowledge with at least one of the following business areas:
- Content Management systems and processes,
- Localisation process,
- Development lifecycle, including methodologies such as waterfall, AGILE or RUP.
- Ideally the candidate will have an understanding the following technologies: Internet Technologies, IIS/Apache, Windows Operating systems, XML, RDBMS Technology, and Virtualization.
- Required in-depth knowledge of the two or more following: XML, XSL, PERL or other scripting language, UNIX (Linux and/or Solaris) administration, Microsoft Windows XP / 2003 Server, MS SQL Server 2000 or above, Oracle version 8 or above, MySQL or .NET (preferably C#).
- The tools below are typically used by an Applications Engineer in the fulfilment of their role in SDL Professional Services: MS Project, MS Visio, MS Team Foundation, MS Office Suite, and Test Track Pro.
- This person must have the ability to travel to the following countries: United Kingdom, USA, Germany, Holland, Belgium, other EU countries.
- Candidate must be fluent in German and English.
