The role involves translation and review of various contents, from English into French, covering Multimedia, Information and Computer Technologies, and the coordination of such projects in order to ensure high quality translation according to schedules and budgets.
For this challenging role, SDL is looking for motivated and committed linguists, eager to actively contribute to the French office expansion.
Skills & Experience:
- Extremely high level of fluency in the target language.
- Educated to degree level (MASTER 2/DESS) with a qualification in Translation.
- Fluency in English compulsory.
- 2 years minimum of experience in IT translation/localisation, preferably with project management/coordination.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Organized, able to work in a professional environment and with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure/tight deadlines.
- PC literate with excellent MS Office experience.
- Experience with Translation Memory tools (such as SDLX/Trados).
