Template Developer Training Track


The cornerstone of any SDL Tridion implementation is the development of templates to 
push content to your website and other channels. This requires good understanding of
the technical concepts of the SDL Tridion software and architecture as well as template
development skills.

This track provides you with the technical knowledge about SDL Tridion templates and gives you practical experience using the system in a series of exercises. Before you start building templates, you will learn how to create a basic content management structure that will be the basis for a successful website. After this the track focuses on designing and developing modular templates and template building blocks using Adobe Dreamweaver and .NET technology.

In case the developers are involved in defining the set up of the SDL Tridion solution, they will benefit from adding the BluePrinting & Authorization course to this track. If the project includes implementation of the SDL Tridion Outbound Email solution, the Template Developers should add both Outbound Email courses to their track. If the project includes implementation of the SDL Tridion SmartTarget solution, the Template Developers should also add the SmartTarget courses to their track.
