Business Analyst Training Track


In each Content Management System implementation Business Analysts and/or Functional
Designers will be involved to define the set up for content and site management, given the 
functional requirements of the sites to be implemented and the editorial requirements of the
content management organization.

Typically this role provides a bridge function between business requirement owners, editorial owners of content and sites, and the technical team that develops the solution. This Training Track consists of four courses.

Our Implementation Methodology uses a generic phased approach that includes preparation, structure, design, build, test and deployment. This course outlines all of the specific CMS activities that you need to perform in each of the phases. In particular, it focuses on how to manage the overall website development project. 

The Business Analyst might benefit from adding the Implementation Methodology to this track, so this person understands the whole implementation process. When the project includes implementation of the SDL Tridion Outbound Email solution, the Business Analyst is advised to add Outbound Email Foundation. When the project includes implementation of SmartTarget, the SmartTarget Foundation training is recommended.
