Application Developer Training Track


Application development with SDL Tridion goes beyond development of the SDL Tridion
templates. This extends into integration of SDL Tridion with web applications, back-end
systems, and additionally the automation of content management tasks.

The track for Application Developers starts similar to the Template Developer track as this knowledge is required to understand the two courses that follow: the Content Delivery course and the Automation course.These courses provide the insights to design and develop a full SDL Tridion solution.

If the developer is involved in defining the setup of the SDL Tridion solution, he/she will benefit from adding the BluePrinting & Authorization course to this track. If WebForms is used, the WebForms course is a must-have to add to this track. If the project includes implementation of the SDL Tridion Outbound Email solution, the Application Developers should add both Outbound Email courses to their track. If the project includes implementation of the SDL Tridion SmartTarget solution, the Application Developers should also add the SmartTarget courses to their track.
