The RSPB use SDL Tridion’s unique BluePrint technology, ensuring consistent content, messaging and branding across all areas of their website and branded material. The solution’s easy-to-use interface means that even non-technical users can easily contribute content.
Thanks to the ease of use of the software, new pages and updates can be created on the RSPB website without the need for expert HTML knowledge. Instead, the team’s designers use SDL Tridion’s BluePrint technology and templating to ensure that content creators and editors can work without detailed technical knowledge. Moreover, the RSPB web team has designed a simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) so that authorised users can upload information on to the site from any of offices in the UK. The web team can now concentrate on the quality of design, structure and strategic content development, while retaining total control over brand and house style.
Using SDL Tridion has revolutionised our working practices – what we do now is easier and faster and what we publish is of a consistently high standard. We have better control over the website, so we can focus on the areas that are of greatest interest to our users. This helps us build a loyal audience and develop and grow the reach of our messages and campaigns to protect birds and nature, ultimately gaining us more support.
