The decision to overhaul Derbyshire County Council’s Web site and intranet was taken as part of a wider project to provide acccess to all of its services online. SDL Tridion enabled council departments to update the websie directly and to develop dynamic online services.

Online transactional services such as library book renewals, adult education sign-ups and reporting road defects were added to the site. 350 content authors within the Council work in SDL Tridion to update the public website, the council’s intranet or one of the other SDL Tridion-managed websites.
