In response to customer requests, the TeamWorks 2008 SP1 release delivers a number of enhancements, to improve industry, translation supply chain and language support:
For the Pharmaceutical Industry
The Product Information Module (PIM) and the Unified Content Model (UCM) are now part of the core product release, rather than a separate installation, and are easily configured for use after installation.
A number of improvements have been made to the online editor as part of the ongoing development to improve the usability in working on PIM/UCM submissions.
Improved Language Support
New native language support in the user interface for Spanish and German as part of the core product. This is available for the Client, the Server and the Web Portal.
It is now possible to add new target languages in the master translation memory (TM) for the existing project.
Improved Integration of TeamWorks 2008 with other SDL Products
SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2 now automatically supports the use of TeamWorks packages eliminating the manual processes that had to be used previously.
