What's new

TeamWorks 2008 SP1 Release Summary

In response to customer requests, the TeamWorks 2008 SP1 release delivers a number of enhancements, to improve industry, translation supply chain and language support:

For the Pharmaceutical Industry

• The Product Information Module (PIM) and the Unified Content Model (UCM) are now part of the core product release, rather than a separate installation, and are easily configured for use after installation.

• A number of improvements have been made to the online editor as part of the ongoing development to improve the usability in working on PIM/UCM submissions.

Improved Language Support

• New native language support in the user interface for Spanish and German as part of the core product.  This is available for the Client, the Server and the Web Portal.

• It is now possible to add new target languages in the master translation memory (TM) for the existing project. 

Improved Integration of TeamWorks 2008 with other SDL Products

• SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2 now automatically supports the use of TeamWorks packages eliminating the manual processes that had to be used previously. 

• MultiTerm Server 2009 can now be used with SDL TeamWorks 2008 SP1
