SDL, the leading provider of Global Information Management (GIM) solutions, with over 170,000 technology users and 80% of the translation technology market, has announced today the launch of the SDL Technology Partner Program. SDL’s technology partners have specialist skills and deliver a broad realm of GIM solutions within the global content supply chain including Product Information Management (PIM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
Customers worldwide increasingly rely on SDL TRADOS® technology as a safe, stable, and market-leading reliable investment to drive their global strategies. The SDL Technology Partner Program proactively assists those partners delivering mission-critical GIM solutions to reduce the cost and time it takes for customers to drive revenue and cost initiatives in global markets.
With the increased demand for GIM solutions, the program is already experiencing rapid growth. Technology Partners benefit from SDL’s approach to open their standard APIs, provision of SDKs and access to the SDL software portfolio for optimal integration. Partners are also given extensive commercial support with joint selling and marketing opportunities focused on maximizing their exposure to the vast SDL user base.
One of the first partners to sign up is leading technology vendor FISCHER COMPUTERTECHNIK GmbH. “We are very happy about our partnership with SDL” said Mrs Kerstin Schlegel, Marketing Manger at FISCHER COMPUTERTECHNIK. “Fischer, one of the leading providers of technical information and content management systems, focuses on authoring, managing and single source publishing. These solutions support publishing of all types of user manuals, brochures, data sheets for print, help and web formats. Through this collaboration with SDL TRADOS we will be able to maximize the synergy between the two technologies. Additionally, the commercial aspect of the partnership will enable us to significantly expand our business by reaching a new customer base of SDL Trados users”.
“In today’s economic climate, customers are searching out quick growth in new markets at lower costs, and as a result our technology and partner solutions are quickly becoming extremely compelling if not an absolute requirement for the global executive," said Keith Laska, Vice President of SDL TRADOS Technologies. “With SDL TRADOS, customers benefit from a financially stable, reliable partner with over 25 year of experience in delivering mission-critical global growth technology. Together with our partners, customers receive a fully integrated solution to effectively manage their global content.”
