Translation Intern Programme
Hands-on experience in translation for young graduates
SDL is currently offering an exceptional opportunity for graduate and post-graduate students in linguistics, modern languages and translation studies to take part in a six-month work placement with a full software, documentation and web site localisation training programme.
The programme takes place at SDL's Sheffield office in England. Intake occurs twice a year in April and October. Full-time employment in one of SDL's international offices is usually available for those who have performed well during their training.
Acceptance to the programme is subject to candidates successfully completing a translation test and availability of posts.
The scheme is open to students whose first language is French, German, Italian, Dutch, Euro Spanish, LA Spanish, and European Portuguese.

Applications for April intake: mid January
Applications for October intake: applications are not being accepted until after 18 July; to apply for October please send online application after this date.
