Hinsichtlich Markenpflege und globaler Präsenz setzt Nautilus auf DITA: Als weltweit tätiger Anbieter von Fitnessprodukten, der sich durch eine Reihe strategischer Akquisitionen vergrößern konnte, stand Nautilus einer wachsenden Anzahl großer Herausforderungen gegenüber. Dazu zählte die Verwaltung der Erstellung und Veröffentlichung seiner Montage-, Nutzer- und Servicehandbücher sowie die Übersetzung von Inhalten in acht Sprachen. Nach einem Audit der Tools und Prozesse wurde der Entschluss gefasst, auf eine XML- und DITA-Lösung umzustellen, um den Anforderungen von Nautilus als globales Unternehmen bezüglich der Textredaktion gerecht zu werden. Das Component-Content-Management-System (CCM) von SDL Trisoft wurde von Nautilus zur Einrichtung der DITA-Lösung ausgewählt, und die Ergebnisse waren beeindruckend. Download »
DITA Helps Nautilus Manage Brand and Global Presence: As a global fitness products company that had grown through a series of strategic acquisitions, Nautilus corporation faced a growing number of key challenges. These included managing the production and publication of its assembly, owner’s and service manuals as well as translating the content into 8 languages. After an audit of the company’s tools and processes, the decision was made to move to XML and DITA as a solution to Nautilus’ authoring requirements as a global company.
