Revenue will be in the range of £116m to £117m (2006: £94.7m) compared with analyst consensus expectations of £114.7m. Profits before taxation and amortisation of intangible assets (“PBTA”) for the period are expected to be in the range of £16.5m to £17.0m (2006: £12.2m), compared with analyst consensus expectations of £16.1m.

Working to strict and unmovable deadlines, this public institution has used SDL technology to manage the terminology contained within the voluminous Acquis Communautaire, the extensive documentation which outlines the common rights and obligations which bind all the Member States within the EU. By standardizing EU legislative terminology in Romanian, the Translation Coordination Unit of the EIR was able to accelerate the completion of the Acquis, maximize the accuracy and consistency of target texts, and make a significant contribution of validated terms to the general public.
