Since its official launch one year ago, over 100 academic institutions worldwide have integrated SDL TRADOS® Certification into their curriculums.

This significant uptake is due to world-leading universities wanting to provide their students with the best possible knowledge and expertise in the industry-leading Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tool.

Recognized as the established standard in the wider translation industry, SDL TRADOS Certification has quickly become a fundamental part of university course curriculums, with a growing number of universities dedicating entire modules to the academic program. Students are required to pass the SDL TRADOS Certification exam in order to pass their module, giving them the necessary knowledge and competitive advantage to be even more successful as they enter their chosen fields in the translation industry.

In addition to Imperial College in the United Kingdom, Kent State University in the United States and the University of Wuerzberg in Germany, some of the most recent universities to have integrated SDL TRADOS Certification into their courses include Ventspils University College in Latvia, University of Rennes II in France , and the South African North West School of Languages.
